A business plan for investors and banks explains how a project or a running business will make money: market, product, marketing, operating model, team, financial plan, risks and how much money is needed. We write the plan end to end or improve individual sections, together with a financial model. Business plans for a Spanish startup visa or residence permit are prepared by our partner Relotus.

How a business plan differs from a concept and a model

A concept answers “what is the project and why is it interesting” and helps attract attention. A financial model calculates the numbers.

A business plan connects the two: it shows exactly how the idea turns into revenue, who does what, what it costs and where the risks are.

Investors, banks and partners read it — and the team works from it afterwards.

What investors and banks look at

  1. Market and customer: is there demand and who will pay.
  2. Operating model: how the product is made and sold.
  3. Financial plan: revenue, costs, cash flow, break-even.
  4. How much money is needed, what for and when it comes back.
  5. For a bank — the ability to service debt, and collateral.

What you get

A business plan with the standard sections: executive summary, business description, market and competitors, product, marketing and sales, operating plan, team, schedule, financial plan, risks, funding requirement.
The financial model the financial plan is built on.
A version tailored to the reader: investor, bank, partner.
For a running business — a development or lending plan based on actual figures.

ENISA loan or grant application: the financial section

ENISA lends to startups and SMEs in Spain through participating loans (préstamo participativo) of €25,000 to €1,500,000 — no collateral, up to 7 years, interest only for the first 2 years.

The decision is based on the business plan and financial forecasts. For grants — CDTI Neotec and regional programmes — the project, the budget and the spending plan are assessed.

We prepare the financial section of the application: the model, forecasts, use of funds and a check of the economics before filing.

You or your gestor submit the application itself — through ENISA’s online portal or the programme’s portal.

What we check before applying to ENISA

  1. The company’s own funds are at least equal to the loan amount — a mandatory ENISA requirement.
  2. Accounts: audited for loans over €300,000; filed with the Commercial Registry for €300,000 or less.
  3. Revenue and cash-flow forecasts for the full loan term and the repayment schedule: interest first, then principal.
  4. For grants — whether the budget fits the call’s terms: co-financing share and eligible costs.
  5. The cash gap: grants are often paid after the final report, while project costs must be paid earlier.

What clients say

We came to Finetic Consulting for a business plan and financial model for our project IMSKIPPER.NET. We liked how quickly Vladislav prepares documents and how deeply he works them through. It is comfortable to work together: every question can be discussed at online meetings while the work is in progress.

What we do not promise

  • We do not guarantee a loan, grant or investment: the bank, fund or investor decides. We are responsible for the quality and logic of the document.
  • We do not prepare the document package for a startup visa or residence permit or file applications — our partner Relotus does that. We can prepare the financial section to ENISA requirements.
  • We do not give legal or tax opinions.

We'll answer your question; if your case needs a closer look — a 15–30 minute call: who the plan is for, what is ready and your deadline. We quote the price after the call.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a business plan cost?

It depends on scope, industry and which sections you already have: you can order the whole plan or individual sections. We quote the price after the introductory call.

What is in a business plan for investors?

Executive summary, business description, market and competitors, product, marketing and sales, operating plan, team, schedule, financial plan with a model, risks and funding requirement.

How is a business plan for a bank different from one for an investor?

An investor is interested in growth and a share of future profit; a bank in the ability to service debt on time. So the bank version puts more weight on cash flow, the repayment schedule and collateral.

Do you write business plans for the Spanish startup visa?

The startup visa package, including the business plan, is prepared by our partner Relotus. We build the financial model to ENISA requirements — 18–24 months of investment and a four-year forecast — and check the project economics before filing.

How long does it take?

It depends on scope and how quickly data is available. We fix the timing in the agreement after the introductory call.

Do you help with an ENISA loan application?

Yes, with the financial section: we build the model and forecasts for the loan term and the use of funds, and check the mandatory condition — the company’s own funds must at least equal the loan amount. You or your gestor submit the application through ENISA’s portal; ENISA makes the decision.
