How to Submit Your Project to an Investor: Terms, Process and Working Format

Starting today, you can submit your project to an investor.

The Finetic Consulting Telegram channel now provides a project submission format that is usually not available in the “public domain”:

• you see the investor’s requirements in advance, including their screening criteria;
• you prepare your materials strictly in line with those requirements;
• you submit the package to Finetic Consulting for a preliminary review;
• if the project passes the screening criteria, we submit the package to the investor and, if there is initial interest, arrange contact or a meeting.

These briefs will be published regularly, with the current target being once a week.

Who This Is Suitable For – and Who It Is Not

This format is suitable if you are ready to refine the documents yourself, take responsibility for your numbers and want a chance to be introduced to an investor without paying a retainer.

It is not suitable if you expect guaranteed funding or want “just a contact” without any screening or preparation.

Why This Format Was Introduced

Our core line of work is investor readiness – preparing companies to raise investment – and fundraising for projects with an MVP and round sizes from $1 million to $50 million. This is substantial work: structuring the logic, numbers, risks and the full investment package at a UNIDO-grade standard, meaning the logic used in feasibility studies and investment justification.

However, we regularly see projects that may be potentially interesting to an investor but do not fit our core format because of stage or economics: the required ticket is small, making a full UNIDO package hard to justify; a developer wants to “simply sell the asset” without broader consulting; or the project is still below MVP stage.

Rather than sending such cases nowhere, we created a lighter format: you prepare the package against the specific investor requirements, and we act as scout and screening filter before submission.

Financial Terms

• Preliminary review against the brief – free of charge.
• If you have prepared the materials yourself, there is no retainer. You only pay if the deal closes: a closing fee payable upon the actual receipt of investment. For investment amounts up to $200,000, the fee is EUR 1,000-2,000 depending on the amount and format. For larger amounts, the fee is 1-5% of the investment actually received.
• If the project is suitable but the package is still underdeveloped and does not pass the screening criteria, there is an optional fee of EUR 300-1,500 for a brief-readiness review, including an improvement plan and checklist, so that you can finalise the package yourself.
• If the project does not fit the brief, you either wait for another brief or adjust the project parameters or packaging. There is no charge “for the process”.

If the project is interesting but the materials are not yet sufficient, we can help prepare an investor-ready package – concept, financial model, roadmap, investment memo and related materials. This is a separate service, discussed separately, with no pressure.
